Well... here is a NEW toy that I am working on..

Upper is Rock River with some addons....

7" HEAVY Barrel... modded gas block....
Has a coated bolt and carrier
A.R.M.S #36 Super Extended
A.R.M.S #71's
Noveski PIG FH
Tac Latch

**FOREND is a Yankee Hill Free Float with the ability to add rails where ever they are needed. I have (3) 3" rails for it. It should all be installed EARLY this week.

Lower:
Lauer Weapons
Tube Cover
Wedge reciever/upper
Ambi Sling
Single Point HK Style Sling

Hope you all like it... Its just a toy... but sure would make a GREAT carry gun.. especially in a DESANTIS DSD Shoulder Rig

Rail will be here in the morning according to UPS...

The barrel was a tad rubbed...due to the gas block being modded to fit..

So.. I cleaned it up.. sprayed it with some aircraft paint remover, degreased it and then wiped it all down..

I placed it in the oven to heat it up a tad and then coated it with 2000 degree flat black.

I placed it again in the oven at 200 degrees for about 4 hours... its ON THERE and looks NICE..

I will update the pics when the rail is installed tomorrow.

UPS shows that the rail is in the neighborhood... So I will update a pic later tonight when i am off work and have it installed.

out of curiosity, since it's an SBR why no stock? Just a pistol buffer tube wrap, or is it "registered" as a pistol

Its a registered PISTOL...

I just wanted something different to play with... keep in the vehicle

I have a registered SBR 10" suppressed.... but this is MUCH smaller.

Interesting little build. I recently helped a local guy throw together a 7.5" barrel upper for his SBR. He also used a Noveske brake. He had a DD rail for a forend. Other than that pretty identical to yours. Gotta admit it felt pretty good.

Thanks, It is actually very well balanced... I was kind of suprised once it was put to gether....

I was worried that it would be a little too heavy or bulky but its definately not..

I will be testing it out later next week and run it through some drills to make sure its reliable... It should be though as its really stupid simple..
