Rifle Scopes Thinking about a Viper PST II on a kidd supergrade

I'm thinking the 5-25X50 would ideal for the price on the Magpul Supergrade with 20" match bull barrel.
Anyone else running this set up? I'll do most of my shooting 25-300 yards maybe get into some NRL action.
Also what rings and ring hight do you use and will I need a higher rail 10 or 20 MOA. What are your thoughts?

I have several of the PST II 5-25X on my rifles. I use them from 50 to 1000 yards. I highly recommend them.

I was considering the same thing. Vortex has a video on youtube comparing the Strike Eagle to the PSTII. They state the PST is better optically, but the strike eagle has more elevation adjustment and can focus down to 15 yards which makes it a little more useful with 22LR.
