Thinking about getting the RPR in 5.56. Am I crazy?

I've owned the 6.5 CM and was very happy with it. Now I'm thinking about the 5.56. I love the idea of being able to magazine feed 90 grainers.
Any drawbacks?

They've discontinued it. Might have to look around a bit to find one. Early on there were some bolt issues, but the later ones were GTG.

I have one that is a consistent 1/2moa with 75 grain ELDs. So far I have about 5000 rounds through it. I haven’t tried the 90s in it yet.

That's why I ordered a 224 Valkyrie. Mag feeding 90gr bullets. It does sound like great fun.

I just bought one on sale at a Big R. It was the last one they had on site. Took it out today with PMC X-TAC 77gr SMK and did barrel break in. This group was the 11-15 shots fired:

The low shot was all me. I am really pleased with this rifle can’t wait to start load development gonna give 80gr SMK a try. I wanted a 223 trainer and this will fill the bill.

Not crazy at all. If I hadn't started a build on a T3 varmint gun about a month before the .223 RPR came out, I'd have one of them (instead of the Tikka).
