Ok guys I live in Utah and I am thinking about moving to Arizona. I am 20 years old and will be moving with 2 of my friends. What is the best area to live in Arizona for 3 young single dudes that like shooting and want to find girls and good jobs?

Re: thinking of moving to AZ

Mesa/Tempe area. Good luck finding jobs though. Girls, you'll find plenty of them pretty much anywhere you go in the Valley. Depends on what you're looking for. Go to a couple ASU parties, you'll see.

that confused me for a minute. The town half an hour south of where I currently live is called Payson! that would be pretty weird. and how far is the Tempe/Mesa/Gilbert/Chandler area from some good hunting and camping areas?

Re: thinking of moving to AZ

In the valley, you can drive pretty much an hour and a half from anywhere and be in decent camping/hunting area. If you're willing to go a bit further north, there's great hunting and camping areas up around Flagstaff and the Mogollon (pronounced Muh-gee-yon) Rim and further north even.

Phoenix or bust. I am smack dab in the middle of all freeways. I can usually get anywhere in town in 30 minute or less. That is of course as long as no one is changing there tire. Rubber neckers out here suck. If you want a over priced high matinece chick. Look at Scottsdale. If you want a less crazy more affordable woman check tempe, Mesa, Gilbert , Chandler questionable.

Seriously, the job part right now is really dependent upon your line of work.......

-insert stereotypical assumption into the space below-
If you're coming down from Utah, Gilbert would be where you'd wanna be. Pointy white spires in every neighborhood and seminaries across the street from every school-yet plenty of heathens to convert.

Re: thinking of moving to AZ

Im still debating on moving to Az but Ill see how the job market is when I get back from Iraq... I was in the process of going LEO but coming out here was $$$ so I want to look into that.. Any departments hiring out there...

Re: thinking of moving to AZ

Tempe, Mesa, Gilbert area would be where I would want to live if I had to live in the valley area. Queen Creek wouldn't be bad, a little more of a drive but cheaper rents also. Any of these areas you can get out of town fast to shoot, hunt, or fish. What kind of work do you do?
