You were referring to grips that use the "thin grip" grip screw bushings, weren't you? </div></div>

Alumagrips are good.
Larry Davidson makes some.
Esmeralda has some.
CSS supplies them.
PS: Normally if you want to try the thinner grips you need the smaller bushings and screws. It is advisable to get a set that support the plunger tube ... (so "the" thinnest may not be what you really desire). </div></div>
I should have cleared that up. I'm hoping to use the factory standard bushings as they are staked and I wasnt aware that the grips actualy help support the plunger tube.. </div></div>
As to the plunger tube, Larry Vickers once said, "The plunger tube was made to be held on by the grips, but with the many different sorts of grips on the market now, you can't count on that. There are only two little legs that hold it on there. If the plunger tube comes loose, it can pop over your safety and keep you from taking the safety off. That can get you killed."
I would probably contact Davidson - above - as he knows all the ins and outs and can probably make you a set that will fit the factory bushings and still support the pt. If not, it is no problem for a good smith to redo the bushings ...
