I am a little fuzzy about the laws regarding this, but doesn't spitting meet the criteria for assault? Bodily fluids can transmit diseases after all. I am sure if a police officer wallops the shit out of a perp who had just spit on him, it would be ruled a good beatdown.

This ANTIFA guy could surely use his spitting skills to his advantage behind bars though.
