IMHO, if it is not a Combat MOS, make it a Civilian / DOD Job and be done with it! No reason for the FOBITs and REMFs to be in uniform, an ultimately receive the benefits of being in uniform, when they have no intention of living up to what it represents.
They are getting ready to cut the hell out of the Military, so hopefully people (notice I did not use the word soldier) like this will be the first to go, but unfortunately I doubt it.
I am a Son of the American Revolution, and every generation of my family has served in the Military (including me) going back to day 1. If my ancestors could see the state of the Military, they would be rolling over in their graves.
Sad part is, there is still at least 1/3-1/2 of the military who honor and build on the blood, sweat, and tears laid by the generations that came before them.
Someone really needs to take care of, or remove, the rest!
