One of these idiot kids is going to get shot doing this or at minimum beaten badly. This craze of doing stuff to people then filming it for online laughs has already gotten kids shot and beaten. Don't mess with strangers, you have no idea what's going on in their life or how they will react and no joke is worth hurting someone or getting killed.
What the fuck ever happened to good wholesome childhood activities like motor vehicle building and trail riding, target shooting done in a safe manner, fireworks and even small quantities of homemade pyrotechnics also done in a safe and responsible manner?
Is it because the government have outlawed so much traditional fun stuff that teens these days have no other options than become full on douchebags?

It's because we have destroyed the family and ushered in online everything to take its place. Kids now days aren't even comfortable in real life. They are only comfortable online. This is just the beginning of the results we are going to be getting. The human touch is vital, not just for social function, but for our own well being. It's in us that we need it and this constant online socialization of our youth does not provide that. Not to mention just the good Ole values and Norms that kept us the greatest nation ever. Aside from God (which is by far the most important and relevant ), our youth si.ply do not have the ties that bind us together as a society because everything isn't real life, there is no touch, there is no body language, there is only a screen and it ain't getting it done.
There's a reason we shake hands or hi five. There's a reason a hug can make us all feel better.
Just like in Fahrenheit 451 where the social media and online deluge created two classes of zombies, the dumb and completely apathetic drones like Montag's wife Mildred, who just talks to her virtual "family" through her wall TV all day, or the gangs of complete psychopaths and killers like the unnamed dudes who steal and race cars at 200mph on the roads at night looking for pedestrians to run over and kill for fun...

And because ANY kid who shows the least bit of motivation.... wanting to have fun... play a prank... gets hammered in school and then put on some kind of drug.
The idea now is to create compliant, servile, terrified kids who grow up into vaxxed mask-wearing adults.

It's a change in the culture. When I was a young man and even a teenager, something like this would have resulted in getting your ass beat a few times and I do mean getting beaten and I do mean more than once.
Granted, punishment is not always a deterrent. But that is no reason to not use it. Sometimes, with repeated applications of getting your ass beat, you learn to behave better if only to avoid another beating.
In this case, to borrow from a phrase in the military, beatings will continue until morality improves.
We recently saw the prankster who kept shoving his phone in a guy's face and accused that guy of actively seeking to look at the pic. So, the guy responded by shooting him in the gut. It did not change the prankster's attitude one single bit. He will keep doing that horseshit until he gets about 2 ounces of lead treatment between the left eyebrow and the right eyebrow.

What these pranksters fail to realize is that all the popular prank vids that they get their influences from are all staged so no one gets beaten or shot. You do the real thing in public, all bets are off.

there are still a lot of the young ones that have a lot of spine in them. let me ask ya, how many kids 25-15 do you know? i know a few, and they are pretty solid. better people than i was at that age than i was by a LONG shot.
it is the greatest generation that started this shit....they had been though a very tough time and deserved a break. they come home, had kids, and many of them raised a generation of problems. even though they deserved a break, that isnt how the world works.
the baby boomers are the ones in power....the very hippy fucks who said to never trust anyone over 30.
Gen X is arriving,.... and it is up to us to do as much unfucking as we can to give today's current crop of kids the best chance we can. in between us and them is the millennials.....and i'd put them at 50/50.

ON a positive note, in the last shooting class's I took there were two girls around 6th grade and one about 9th grade with their dads and granddads. One of them, Abbey, got out to 1000 yds. She's a real character, stole my wolfdog's heart. I envy and pity the guy who falls for her. You can see one of the girls in this photo.

How dare you! Can you not comprehend the horror of having a bucket on your head. I mean one look at the warning sign on any 5 gallon bucket about the baby falling and dying should be enough. Just the other day I was with my significant other at Lowe's and we were looking at buckets. I took one like at a 5 gallon and said no way Jose not in my house. That thing is a killer. An adult probably won't drown, but I mean the potential is there. Might not even be able to get it off in time and become asphyxiated. Triggering a gag reflex hopefully your friends could hold you upside down so all the puke would stay in the bucket.
We proceeded mix up concrete in discarded Lowe's bags for what seemed like the good part of the day. And then treated ourselves to a nice dinner at soup or salad.
Heart attack or, weak woman or not (and, in my day, we protected women instead of accusing them of being weak, but hey, I am just built differently,) people dropping buckets on other peoples' heads need the kind of etiquette lesson that brings everlasting change to their behaviors. chance to grow and be a better person. Repeat and rinse, as necessary.

Bucket dropped over her head? What the fuck ever happened to situational awareness? There have always been douche bags. But, they are typically ineffectual until a critical mass is established. It used to be that a douchebag criticality event was pretty rate, as they had to get together physically. With the advent of social media, one of these events can occur anywhere, at any time, because every douche bag is connected to every other douche bag via insta-snap-X.

I'm not taking up for the pranksters you shouldn't mess with people you don't know. But no one saw any of the 4 individuals place the bucket on her head leading me to believe it was probably some puertorican guy, a black guy, or the ghost of Kiev.
The punksters need a lesson in civility. And what could have prevented her hysteria or medical emergency or even a pending lawsuit? How about a POS not dropping a bucket on her head? How about we try that?

And so, also, I see know reason to partially blame HD or Lowes for having these buckets so handy.
