Re: This is my rifle

Have you had a chance to work out the stoney point target knobs. I had a set and they would slip. Never would return to zero.

Re: This is my rifle

kcbaird yes i did have to do some work with the knobs,......like you said they do have slop, what i did was to bed the coin slot with bedding compound, that got rid of most of it.the stoney point knobs are useable now.Hue001t the gun can shoot if i do my part,...can do .5 allday and better if i do my part. You may know somtimes youcan shoot and other day you can't shoot for sh-t.it has a 6.5-20 L-pole scope with mil. dots the gun weights 14#.With the brake its like shooting a 308.I just ordered a box of 300 laupa bullets,i think they will very good,...if the bullets are as good as thier brass. This gun only uses one 1/4" bolt to hold the action in place. The action does not touch the stock at all.I shoot the 300 SMK

nice. regular sticky back? or did it take some glue? thought about putting a spot on my can to secure the rifle rag without too much barrel contact.

Nice looking rifle. A question about your muzzle break there. I am just making an assumption here but i am assuming that the break is for reducing recoil. I am not criticizing your work but wouldn't it have been more effective to give the slots more of an angle to them?
