I guess I'm a dork, as I would like to have one of the dog tag holders.

My best friend passed away 6 weeks ago. All of us (his shooting buddies) were given a dog tag by his wife for our keychains that has his call-sign on it. I think it would be neat to mount it on my rifle somehow. This product makes it possible. If someone sees it and asks me about it, I'll have a great opportunity to tell them about my friend.

Just like a lot of products out there: these obviously have a legitimate use or fulfill a consumer need/desire.....even if they are designated "cheesy" by some.

I do agree, however, that some of the other products are a little over the top.....but to each his own.
