Y'all remember the chick that resulted in this, right?
Well... Dad died (damn shame, I can sympathize with the folks who wish there was something that could be done over the internet but have no idea how to do it) and the article above starts off referring to her as her/daughter/etc, but at the point after describing how she now prefers they/them/their instead of he/she/her/etc, they (plural, including author, editor, etc) start using this gender neutral bullshit which is just completely fucking confusing.
Doubly so when they switch it up mid-read. Like, wtf? You can't go fucking with plural and singular like there are no goddamn rules to the English language.
