A lot of that and arms shipments to countries we should not have been dealing with in the first place. Also jet engines and airplane parts which they usually delivered on a Saturday or Sunday at random times. Their planes always needed fuel, a case of oil added to one engine and occasionally they had what appeared to be random bullet holes, unrepaired in various non-critical areas of the plane, lol.
We got the airplane parts and because of the random delivery times always had to go help the guys receiving this stuff. Then we had to give a hand to the POL or maintenance guys who had to give the plane a service or repair. 90% of the Air Force does not work nights, weekends, holidays, Fridays or in bad weather so the 10% has to make it happen.
