Fact is, version 1.0 started off years before the shots were fired at Ft. Sumter. Bleeding Kansas and the raid by John Brown on the Harpers Ferry Arsenal. Which, btw, was the galvanizing moment for the South... when they went from 'talk talk talk ' to organizing serious militias and ordering bulk weapons and artillery (you bought it privately back then). Funny thing is that 'Ol John Brown was a dyed in the wool Abolitionist Republican...

So the Civil Started with a whimper... and per the earlier thread on the Boston Massacre... so did the American Revolution. It won't start with Operation Barbarossa... it will start as a street riot somewhere. Or a bunch of patriots on a bridge. Or an Antifa attack on some soft target. Then the militias will start drilling...

The pre-history is worth reading...
