Hunting & Fishing This years buck

Took this guy with my AR15 chambered in .30 HRT using 125gr Nosler BT's pushed to 2440FPS. 65 yard shot and he went maybe 30 yards or so.

For those who don't know, the .30HRT is a 6.8 SPC run through a .30 Herrett pistol die, trimmed to length, and fire formed.

Yet to eat them... but when wrapped in bacon and grilled slowly while coated with garlic butter, I'm sure they will be darn good.

Up in the north part of the state, where my farm is, we get some nice ones.
