They were allowed to peacefully protest.

Once they crossed the line into rioting, violence, destruction of property and vandalism - they went from “protestor” to “terrorist”. Since they refused to take my advice and put sniper teams on rooftops, I guess just rolling these idiots up using unmarked minivans will have to suffice.

I'm gonna to go against the grain here and suggest that federal agents scooping up citizens against the wishes of those nominally in control a particular jurisdiction is not a precedent that we want to support. Ya'll really think this won't go the other way the next time a Democrat is in office? Ain't gonna be quite so funny when your buddies start getting disappeared on their way out of the coffee shop after a range trip...

Against the wishes? What are you Rain Man. . Sorry, that would be an insult to the intelligence of Rain Man.

The elected officials failed to do their job and protect the everyday citizen wishing to get on with her life go to work and pursuit of happiness. These people being targeted by the federal officers doing thei job wouldn't be there if the hired regular police weren't such pussies.

The Fourteenth Amendment gives the feds the power to do this. They have not even barely started to use that power. But I think it's coming.

Section 1.
All persons born or naturalized in the United States, and subject to the jurisdiction thereof, are citizens of the United States and of the state wherein they reside. No state shall make or enforce any law which shall abridge the privileges or immunities of citizens of the United States; nor shall any state deprive any person of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law; nor deny to any person within its jurisdiction the equal protection of the laws.

These folks ain't being sent to the gulag as far as I know. They know the instigators and are taking them. You think they do it without evidence? I don't.

When the local Govt allows lawlessness you are depriving the law abiding of their rights. I see a few choices for Trump.

1) Martial Law, heads explode and the optics are bad. Mil Governors and Mayors you get instant order but look heavy handed.

2) (The likely choice) Federalize the local Govt's including the police. Appoint a person as the Federal authority, thus neutering the local Govt. Maybe just a few cities or maybe some whole states. There are a lot of Fed officers available. Plus they could deputize some Mil as US Marshals. They already did that in DC Cooled the riots quick. The Feds could back up the locals and let the locals restore order.

3) Who knows what they got in their arsenal.

No matter what happens something needs be done.

Everybody wants to be a gangster until its time to do gangster shit.

I lost count as to how many times we went after someone in Afghanistan where they were a major shit stirrer / lets go kill some evil Americans shit starter, and then when we showed up, they were usually the ones trying to get away in a flurry of women, children and goats used as cover and usually cried like a little bitch.

Kill the women, children and goats... Problem solved. Unfortunately most people don't have the stomach for that. This is why terrorist use those type of tactics.

Strange thing happens though when you bring a building down filled with those women children or men terrorist supporters all of the sudden terrorist stop showing up in those areas.

Its too small scale I am waiting for the buses to show up where the mobs are and 10 thousand armed federal solders force the mobs on the buses and haul them away not letting any escape city by city or all at once while the dimacratic leaders cry all butt hurt over marshal law , but see no political leaders with the wear with all to push the federal governments muscle around even if its all legal to do . and what they should have done from the start .

I think what they need is to bring along some tactically trained Dangerous Game veterinarians... tranquilizers for everybody that gets in the way.

Also partial to directed EMP burst to take care of those phones and cameras
