Suppressors Thread adapter

Re: Thread adapter

I have this one
http://www.brownells.com/rifle-parts/bar...-prod45432.aspx

It's made by TROS (all he does is threaded stuff)and is stainless. It only adds 1/8" to the total length. Does not look goofy like some that add 3/4" in length, the one in your link is longer so they could put their name/symbol on it, thread protecter is included

Is it that simple?</div></div>

MY gunsmith uses one on his AR with his 30P-1 for Hunting, works great.

Re: Thread adapter

The Silencer Store version looks better than the Brownells. I like how the flat spot/nut is bigger. Looks like you would get a better grip on it when using a wrench.

It doesn't come with a thread protector for the $40 price but when I didn't have my 30cal can mounted on my AR15 I would want my AR15 brake back on it anyhow. Even when you add the thread protector to it is is cheaper than the one Brownells sells. I guess the only downside would be that it is about 1/8" longer than the TROS. Definitely going to pick one up down the road.

Edit: Just noticed it is black oxide coated so it would be good to keep it oiled up.

Like finbox said the TROS is stainless.
