Gunsmithing Threading a barrel

Just wanted to get some opinions/stories from you guys. I have a few bolt action rifles that I am contemplating getting threaded. My question is has anyone seen a decrease in accuracy after doing so? Can any competent gunsmith do the work without harming my rifle?

I have threaded a bunch of mine and have yet to see any accuracy degradation.

If anything, re-crowning the muzzle during the threading process seems to increase the accuracy for me.

There will be no decrease in accuracy. The key part is the competent gunsmith.
