This is the rifle I have that I want to thread for use with my YHM QD 5.56 titanium suppressor (12oz).

It measures .5715in diameter at the muzzle and the barrel is 21.900in long. The barrel tapers to the muzzles diameter and of course is heavier the closer it gets to the receiver. It shoots AWESOME right now with 40gr Vmaxs but is super loud.
My two main concerns with getting the barrel threaded is
1: Will the barrel have enough metal at the muzzle(.5715in) to put a 1/2-28 thread on it? If not how much should I get the barrel cut down to?
2: With the barrel having a lighter contour would I need to worry about hanging a 12 ounce suppressor off the end?
I primarily use this rifle for hunting coyotes so I'm using it without hearing protection. It really rings the hell out of my ears and it would be ideal to use my suppressor. What do you think gents? Should I just leave it alone or try and pursue the threading it for suppression?
