Anyone have a good suggestion on where to go in Georgia to get my rifle threaded and a good muzzle brake?

any recommendation on brakes?
equally important any brakes I should specifically avoid?

this if for a 7.62 nato

not interested in sending it out of state unless it is only a few hours drive from Atlanta

thanks

Re: threading and muzzle brakes?

There is a really good guy in Athens. The Firing Lane. They also sell suppressosrs.

Also for a muzzle brake, go with RWS here on the hide. I live in Alpharetta. You're welcome to shoot my rifle anytime you'd like.

Re: threading and muzzle brakes?

I have a RD precision RAD brake on my .308, I find a difference in felt recoil. Usually side ported muzzle brakes are loud since it directs gas/noise to the side rather than all towards the front. They are probably the most effective is reducing recoil though.
