Gunsmithing Threading the muzzle for sup...

I am building a tactical rifle with a m24 5r rock barrel.
Was thinking about threading the muzzle and cap for the option for a supressor.
The plan it to have the capability out to a grand.

Will threading the muzzle and cap affect the accuracy?
Was wondering if it affected the harmonics of the barrel?

With the caveat-In short, No if done correctly.
You need to ensure that the turning/threading is concentric to the bore and axially aligned to the bore. This is especially critical if a suppressor is planned. You also need to ensure that the muzzle crown integrity is not compromised during the process. Some Smiths will use a "spud" that they insert into the muzzle to facilitate use of a live center. Probably not the best plan.
Personally I like to have the suppressor on hand if possible, I can measure the internal threads so my muzzle threads are a nice, snug fit.
