Rifle Scopes Three Ring Circus

I met a guy today that is having problems getting his SakoTRG .338 Lapua Mag on paper at 100yds. When I asked him about his mount and rings, he told me that the mount and rings were all one piece, there were three rings, and the rings had rubber inserts. Bought them six years ago. He's not sure,but thinks they might be Burris. Does this mount and ring setup sound familiar? Just tryin' to help a brother out.

I'm sure it is the factory Sako tactical 3 ring mount, below is a link. More info would help when you get a chance to ask him, scope, ect.

He has an old Burris Black Diamond, 30mm tube,& target turrets on it. He says that he can't adjust the reticule to shoot any lower in order to get on paper at 100yds. Does he need a new 20moa mount instead of the 30moa that's on there? Should he drop the cash on a premium 34mm optic? Where can he buy a pic rail that will fit this rifle?

Tell him to get a better scope or zero it at 300yds.
