Just wanted to let everyone know that titan defense is a great firearms dealer. They went above and beyond to help me modify an existing order to make sure I got it that same week.

Basically, they had expected lmt to send a mws battle rifle by the end of last month, but lmt had not shipped by the expected date. With all the craziness of the Corona virus, idiot governors shutting down gun stores, and people who have never bought a firearm overwhelming the gun stores, I wanted to go ahead and get the order asap. So I asked if they could switch the order to the same rifle with a 16 inch lw chrome lined barrel and charge me the difference. They did this - and got the rifle to me in the same week.

Very fast communication, very friendly, and very quick shipping. Two big thumbs up to titan defense!

So you got the lightweight barrel instead of heavy or you got a chrome plater instead of SS?

Yeah, I wasn't clear with my initial post. I originally ordered a 13.5 lw cl barrel since that is what came with the mlok battle rifle version of the mws. Since that had not shipped, I basically just asked the 13.5 to be replaced by a 16 inch of the same type - chrome lined, lw profile. Basically the exact same thing except a 2.5 inch longer barrel.

With all the crazy stuff going on I figured I better go ahead and get the rifle now instead of waiting on a company like lmt that I am sure is getting slammed with orders - and getting everything except 2.5 inches more barrel meant it was basically the same rifle, anyway.

And the beauty of the mws system is I can swap out to another barrel if for whatever reason I don't care for the barrel. I am just glad titan defense was willing to work with me, and that they were able to turn on a dime and change the order so quickly. Heck, the 16 inch is probably a better all around barrel anyway for the 308!

Yep-16 cl is a good barrel to have-I would say near must have.
