Just wanted to thank the guys at TVP again. Great day of shooting, and would recomend a day with Tom to anyone. I went with the intentions of missing alot. lol, tom got me set for dope, and we where off,hitting targets and getting exact drops. You get to shoot the benches to get you started, and then i got to try out every peice of steel he has, shot the short and long courses, as well has the headhunnter. What a blast. headhunter, is by far the funnest thing i have shot. Tough, but fun. I honestly learned more in one day, than i have shooting anywhere else so far. I am limited to 450yds for the most part where i am at. so this is a great oppertunity to get dope for your rifle alomst every 25yds out to 1k. the rifle shot well and had a blast .After getting everything set up. tom got me on target and was hitting a good bit of steel. cant wait to shoot a comp.

Plus got the 6.5x47 lapua to hit the 1 mile plate 3 times in a row. after the 12 rounds to get me on target lol. Not enough elevation adjustment. Give him a shout well worth it.

It's in Ohio, between Coshocton and Cambridge a little ways off I 77.

Great range, and great folks! My buddy and I made our first trip up last weekend. We'll be going back ASAP!

Mile target three in a row??? Wow! Congrats man!

Ive slung about 30 308 rounds and 15 338 rounds at it and never connected.... I'm not gods gift, but I dont "suck".

yea thanks,i may have got lucky on the mile target lol, considering ive never shot to even 1000 until that day. it took 12 rounds to get it on trget. it wouldent have happened if the owner wasent there to spot and guide me. If your looking for a place to shoot give them a shot. everyone was freindly and helpfull. give tom a call there it is worth the drive if your looking for a great place shoot comps or get some instruction first.

Thunder Valley Precision is truly an awesome place. I have only been there twice but every time has been a blast. The first time was on an open range day and while I didn't meet Tom because he was busy, I did meet a few other guys there and they were all very knowledgeable and helpful. The second time was for the combo course a few weeks ago. It was a tremendous learning experience, and at the same time a great, full day, of shooting. I didn't hit all the targets or even know where my shots were on a couple of them(1165 and the other 1k+ target) but I hit a few I wasn't expecting to, and unfortunately missed a couple I thought I should have. I am trying to go do the short course at the beginning of October. I can't wait.
