Primmed my first Lapua cases with a Lee Priming tool. They were extremely tight in the case holder of the primer tool. Primed over 1000 times with Remington brass and never had a problem.
I am using Federal 210M primers. Fitted fine in the Remington brass but again very tight fitting in the Lapau.
Not too worried about the tight primers but snapping the cases in and out of the case hilder is hard on the hands.
Not looking to buy a new primer tool but any help would be great. Thanks

Re: Tight fitting Lapua 308 WIN cases

I use the older Lee Autoprime with the Lee shell holder and mine works fine with Lapua brass. Lapua brass is a bit thicker everywhere than a lot of other brass and Lee's quality kinda sucks so I'd say it's a combo of both as to why it works fine for remington but lapua is tight in the holder. I would order a new shell holder next time you're placing a order from somewhere that has them and hope you get one thats not as tight.
