Tikka Bravo Chassis

For owners of the KRG Bravo chassis for the Tikka, what specific bit are you using to torque the front action screw? I can't find locally any bit that will fit a torque wrench with a 1/4" male or female connection for either a FAT wrench or a Vortex torque tool that will also fit the chassis skin hole size. For some reason that I cannot understand, the chassis skin hole size is 0.255" and 1/4" drive is 0.282" across the corners.

You can remove the polymer handguard to access the screw so you don't have to go through the hole. Just unscrew the handguard and pull it straight down (or up if it's upside down).

I used an extra long hex socket with a 1/4in to 3/8in adapter.

Not sure if your problems are already solved but I noticed krg sells a bit for this while looking under accessories for a spigot the other day

Just had this problem with a friends rifle. We found “impact” bits that had an extension before the shoulder so they worked well. Found them at Autozone
