Decided to go back to a manners stock and build a different rifle. This is a Tikka SA Xlr Element 4.0 in Magnesium with their carbon fiber folding stock. It also has a qd mount, thumb shelf and ergo vertical grip. I also have both the long and short mag release

since all tikka actions are the same, when you say you have both the short action and long action mag release, does that mean you can run both in this?

Not my listing but I believe he is talking about the mag release(s), not the inlet.

No, it means XLR’s shorter and longer tactical magazine release. This is specifically for a Tikka Short Action.

For reference, you can change out the “bolt release” on a tikka to long or short. But stocks and chassis are specifically made for either long or short action.
