I recently acquired a Tikka T3 picatinny rail (from a Super Varmint). The original owner did a good job of getting rid of most of the loctite for me. However when I came to put in on my rifle two of the screws stripped out at around 12 in lbs - not good.

The UK distributor was no help regarding a replacement, just wanted to sell me a new rail. Could not even give me an email addy for Sako / Tikka, just referred me to the website. Tried calling Sako and got given an email that bounced back (to be fair the lady on reception's English was a good deal better than my Finnish....)

Anyone had this issue and managed to resolve it? Any contact detail for Tikka / Sako would be much appreciated.

Thanks

Re: Tikka T3 rail screws

Hi you could try your local engineering supply store I am sure that they would have screws that would fit and would not be anywhere near as expensive as the originals
