Rifle Scopes tikka t3 ring size

I am mounting a leupold 3.5x10x50mm with a 30 tube to a tikka t3 300 wsm. i have flip up scope covers for the scope and dont know whether i need med or high rings. rifle has the standard hunting barrell not a heavy barrell. anyone done this. i am out of town and dont have any measurements with me. thanks

also does anyone know the actual outside diameter of the objective lense with a leupold vari x 3 with a butler creek flip up cap.

Probably high. Are you using the receiver groves, or?

went with 30mm warne high rings. leupold 3.5 x 10 x 50 with a butler creek flip up cap fit nicely.
