What is a fair value to place on a Tikka T3 Tactical w/20" threaded barrel? It is a stock rifle that has been bedded. About 400rds down the tube. And its used but not abused condition. Looking to fund a different project, and need some input. Thanks in advance.

They seem to run $1,500 new, so I would say $1,200-ish would be fair.

I can get one locally for around 1400. I wouldn't value it quite at 1200 just for my personal preferences. You have some things working against you like the factory stock being so so and the barrel threads being metric. Keep in mind that a scout is very similar and cost less than a thousand new. Sorry, note trying to torpedo you just letting you know the factors you're dealing with.
Although the tikka tac that went in the KRG stock with spiral fluting went for just under 3000 I believe.
My personal opinion is that the rifle is overpriced from the factory and will not hold value well at least for the first resale.

I don't know the caliber you have but I bought on in 223 that was very lightly used for $700. I think that is on the very low end of value. I'd think a 308 could bring a little more.

I would say you would sell it quickly at $950. That's a fair price in my non expert opinion. I wound up getting the scout because of the price difference but probably would have bought a used tac for that price. I'd start a little higher to give yourself some room to come down.

I believe they offer it in both 20 and 24. Though the 20s are what you mostly see these days. Maybe they stopped importing the 24 version?

Never seen a 24" Tactical. They do offer the Super Varmint, I think it's called, in a 24". It has the same stock as the Tac but is S/S and no threaded muzzle.

I picked up a new 24" T3 Tac a couple years ago for $850 from a local shop... That being said it was a .223, maybe the others hold/demand more value?

I have a Tikka T3 Super Varmint and it is a totally standard factory gun other than the trigger that has been lightened. I have it in .243 and it is a real tack driver.
eg
.5" groups at 200yds.
1" group at 300yds
1 shot kill on hare at 704yds.
I am sure you may have rifles that can do better stats than that but I doubt you could from a factory rifle.
Please don't underestimate these rifles, they are awesome.

We all realize the accuracy of Tikka's. That's why we own them. No one was questioning the quality of the T3 platform merely the resale value of a T3 Tac given the other options available from Baretta.
