Gunsmithing Tikka T3x CTR 20 moa rail trouble

I took off the original rail on my Tikka T3X CTR and noticed it had 5 screws including the one on the front that isn’t screwed all the way in. But there’s two smaller holes on the original rail where two pins come up from the receiver.

The aftermarket rail only has 4 holes and won’t even lay flat on the receiver because of the two tiny pins sticking up. What can I do? How would I remove these pins? I can’t find any info about a CTR having two tiny pins sticking up.

I’ll post pictures when I get home. Any help is greatly appreciated. I tried to find the info on my own and I’ve done this to a T3 CTR with no issue at all.

I have removed the original rail. It has 5 holes for screws and two more smaller holes for the pins from the receiver. The aftermarket rail only has 4 holes.

Wouldn’t that be for the first screw that isn’t actually screwed in all the way on the front of the receiver? The two pins I’m referring to are closer to the middle IIRC.

I’m an idiot. Tried again and the pins are plastic and easily removable. Mods y’all can delete this.
