I’m planning on buying a new rifle in 6.5 creedmoor, I’ve narrowed it down to two options. I’m looking for advice/information from people who have had experience with either rifle. If one or the other would be more accurate or have a smoother action. Its primary use will be for long range target shooting for fun on the weekends. My budget is around $1500 or less.

Option one is to buy a tikka t3x CTR with the 24” threaded barrel and put it into a KRG Bravo chassis with a Yo Dave trigger spring.

Tikka t3x ctr $1150

KRG chassis $389

Trigger spring $10

Total. $1549

Option two is the Bergara HMR Pro which comes with 24” threaded Barrel, adjustable trigger tech trigger, and fluted bolt.

Price $1529

Both have stocks with internal aluminum chassis.

I've had a bunch of Tikka's over the years and still have a few. They are great for sure, very accurate and smooth as silk even when extremely dirty. If you wouldn't mind a 20" barrel instead of a 24" shoot me a PM. I was getting ready to sell a T3x CTR 6.5 creed that's nearly new along with a KRG Bravo, I had the setup for an extra/loaner gun but found my way into another rifle so the extra Tikka is going to get sold.

Your t3x price is high, should be able to find one under $900, around the same price as the plain HMR.

The HMR Pro is a great package from everything I have read. That's the route I would go given those two options.
