I have read that Tikka laps this barreled action I.e. more attention than the CTR. I do not know if it is true or not.

When I had researched CTR vs TAC A1, the only documented difference was the trigger. I still got a Tac A1 as I liked the tikka mags and chassis, but the action and barrel are same between the two. Still a great, accurate, slick action and CTR is no slouch.
