Was it not transformed into a T3x CTR with a factory 2-stage trigger? I understood the A1 differed from a CTR with the addition of a Tikka chassis (don't know manufacturer) with a 2-stage trigger.

Notice any accuracy differences with switch to the KRG stock? I'm thinking about doing the same with my CTR.

Yep pretty much a CTR now....woulda started with a CTR outta the gate, just couldn't get 1 with a 24 in. Barrel.

It did start out as a Tikka Tac A1.

Really liked the Tac A1.....just didn't fit me. So this is how it turned out. Very comfortable.

What are you using for mags?

MDT double stack 10 rounders.....no plate for longer rounds. I wanna say 2.85 to 2.9 in .

Yea that is what I wound up using when switching my CTR to a MDT HS3 Tikka chassis. So far the MDT mags have been very reliable.

Jonnyrock - minus bipod and mag, what is the weight? With Spuhr 4602 and Vortex Razor 5-27x56, my A1 is shy of 15lbs.

I haven't weighed it yet, but it's lighter than my 10 BA Stealth in Accuracy Int chassis. I'm gonna guess about 10.5 to 11 lbs.

This is very frustrating to me. I guess I understand it on paper—CTR is COMPACT tactical rifle after all—but it's still frustrating.
