I am posting for the first time here and if i get it wrong, someone tell me. Now the issue, and possible fixes. I have 5 tikka t3s and as i was checking the trigger spring to place a yodave light pull spring in my weapon i dropped the metric screw and where it went no one knnws. Swept my entire shop and couldnt find it. So i get on the beretta home page and message them and explain my situation. I need two replacement screws for this application, one to repair my weapon and the other as a spare in case i make another stupid mistake. They inform me to contact brownells or midwest gun works for the part. I do this and am told i have to buy a complete trigger repair kit costing approximately 50.00 wrong, not for a 50 cent set screw. I find out the thread size and go to fastenall and get a bag of ten for $3.88. Whoppee,, im back in business. By the way and here is the most important part of the message. The original trigger spring has uneven ends on it from the mfgr. If you take the spring very carefully to a small grinder or belt sander and WITHOUT heating the spring, grind the ends so there is a flat area across the end of the spring, you can use the oirginal spring and get the pull safely down to 1.5 lbs. Which is plenty light for me. Now there is no need for aftermarket springs. I have performed this on all five of my rifles and it works perfect. Just an fyi guys. For those of you that need a little help and no need to spend extra cash.
