Im looking for a bolt release and the round top allen screw that holds it in place. Its for a 510 model. Long story short, I bought it new/used and received it missing these parts. I tried calling Timney and the are closed on Sat. Has anyone ordered trigger parts from them? I also need trigger pins to hold this in my Badger M2008 action, would these pins be the same as standard Rem 700 pins?
Thanks

Re: Timney trigger bolt release Remmy 700

I called Timney about a part a couple of weeks ago. I had it in about 3 days.
I can't answer your question about the Badger action because I've never had one, but I would guess that if it accepts Remington style triggers the pins for the Remington style triggers would also work.

Edit:

Badger website says:

"Trigger: Can use any Remington M700 style trigger."

Re: Timney trigger bolt release Remmy 700

It's the same pin as the Rem 700 for the Badger.

I had an extra set of pins so I just used the long pin for my Timney as well. I have both long pins installed because it's harder to judge where the short pins would be installed to far on one side or not.

I had to flare mine out a smidge so it wouldn't fall out of my pin hole.

Curious as to why you need the bolt release on the Timney with the M2008 action? I removed my bolt release since the M2008 already has a side release.

Re: Timney trigger bolt release Remmy 700

Well I guess you just answered my question. I bought the barreled action from a friend but he kept the trigger. Then he sold me the trigger later and I noticed the bolt release was missing....now I know why!!
Problem solved.
Thanks
