Just picked up some titegroup, and want to work up a load for my 45acp. Using CCI primers whats giving everyone a good load? I thought about trying 4.8-5 grains. Going to try Berry 185 HBRN and 200 GRN FP.

Re: Titegroup

Here are a few I've run. All w/Fed. 150 primer, W-W brass,fired in S&W 625. Remington 185 jacketed swc.

200 SWC TG 4.6 783fps

185 gr. T.G 4.5 718fps
185 gr. TG 5.0 796fps
185 gr. TG 5.2 828fps

Re: Titegroup

With mixed headstamps and wolf primers:

185gr berrys - 5.5 TG
200gr montana gold - 5.25 TG
230gr montana gold - 5.0 TG

Note that Berrys should be treated like straight lead in regards to charges!

Re: Titegroup

What are going to be shooting? A good target/bullseye load is 4.5 Titegroup behind Montana Gold 200 JFP, loaded as short as your gun will take it. This will not make minor though and you'll need a 12 or 13# spring.
