I’m just starting to load some 223 for an upper I just built. I’ve loaded up some 69smk and about to some 52jhp in ladders.
After doing the smk, I did the push them on a bench and see if the bullets move and they did not.
if it matters this is going through a Nordic16” barrel with an adjustable gas block in it (carbine buffer). The barrel has a smaller gas port on it. I’m hoping that means less rough handling from the mag to chamber.
I’m using a Redding fl sb bushing die. I mic’d the neck thickness to determine bushing size, so I think I have a good neck tension at this point.
Should I crimp them or not? I have a redding and lee fcd crimp dies if the answer is yes.
