    All of the 79 families at Nightforce Optics want to take a moment and say “Thank You” to all of our customers at Sniper’s Hide. Our success and growth in the market is possible because of you. In these troubled economic times, we are reminded – daily – that we are in a position of strength solely due to our dedicated work force, the quality of product, and YOU, our customer. You have allowed us to grow well beyond 20% per year over the past several years. As for 2011, we have experienced an even greater percentage of growth.

    With this growth comes various challenges. One of these challenges is the ability to deliver our products to the market in a timely manner while maintaining our quality standards – the standards that, above all else, you expect from us.

    Over the last few months we are frequently asked: “Why does it take so long to get a scope from you guys?” The answer is relatively simple. We are NOT going to ship inferior quality product(s) for the sake of shipping product fast or for making a few extra dollars at the end of each month. Nightforce Optics success has not been achieved by shipping to a dollar driven end-of-month goal or standard. It is only driven by the ability to ship product that meets our rigorous quality assurance standards. Hence, our capacity to manufacture and ship excellent product is indeed finite.

    The demand for our product is at an all-time high. Production is at an all-time high. Quality is at an all-time high. Yet availability remains “limited”. However, product is readily available at one of our over 300 dedicated “Stocking Dealers”. However, should the dealer order a new scope today, their order would have a six month lead time to fulfill and ship said new scope order. Several of our top performing “Stocking Dealers” advertise and promote on Sniper’s Hide. These dealers have Nightforce Optics riflescopes ready to ship.

    Nightforce Optics is currently behind schedule in shipping our NXS 3.5-15x50 F1 riflescopes to our “Stocking Dealers”. This is due to us releasing several new front focal plane reticle designs this year. All are illuminated. These new designs are pushing our vendor’s manufacturing capabilities with today’s currently available technology. We are pushing the technology envelope. However, we will deliver, and our customers will be serviced. We sincerely regret the delays; but “quality” is driving Nightforce Optics – not a time line.

    So, what are we doing to improve the situation at hand? Great question! We have just completed our new construction addition, incorporating an additional 10,000 square foot facility. We have employed additional staffing in production, engineering, machining, customer service, and administration – and we will continue to add to our production staffing. We are constantly improving our processes, methodology, and flow. We are working diligently with our vendors to help manage current and future demand. We are focused on long-term business growth – not just meeting today’s business expectations.

    To all of our customers that own Nightforce Optics riflescopes and gear, we extend our sincere “Thanks” to each and every one of you. You have made it possible for us to achieve. To all of our naysayers from the past, present, and into the future, we “Thank You”, too, for helping us remain committed to proving that we can, and will continue to, design, manufacture, and ship the best quality riflescopes and accessories on the market today.

    Nightforce Optics has a very bright future ahead itself – because of you, our customer.

    Seriously - good to see success for a US company that builds high quality product at a reasonable price and that is responsive to customers, both in service and in product development. Looking forward to adding to my collection!

    Im pretty sure Nightforce is actually an Aussie company that maufactures in the US.

    Either way it doesnt really matter, its good to see theyre doing well and have a customer orientated approach to the way they do buisness.

    Also nice to see they know where to go when they need to reach out to the bulk source of their customers.

    I don't want to sound like I know their details, but They do employ Americans and use American products.
    The company I work for (an American, family owned business) provides them with Nitrogen and other gases used in the manufacturing of their scopes.

    Its the small things like this that make me glad I spent my money on a nf other than quality.

    Ps id b happier if they could retrofit my nxs with hi rev turrets and zero stop

    I have a 2.5-10x32 that I picked up online because it was advertised as having the NP-R1 reticle. Even asked the gal on the phone to verify it was the correct reticle. Scope arrives and it's the "big game" NP-1 reticle instead and the seller has disapeared.

    I'll be so happy when I get that changed out to a ballistic reticle!

    Good letter indeed. And good company with excelent products.

    I just wish they come with a FFP around 6-30X56 with a reticle center no greater than 0,35mil.

    That will be a hit!

    Love my NXS and glad to hear they are doing well. It's also refreshing to see them respond to their loyal customer base. That's the kind of thing that would encourage me to make another NF purchase on my next build.

    Love all my NF scopes.

    Don't like the warranty card that came with the last one.

    The only other complaints I can think of are the non matching magnification rings onthe full size/compact models (different directionL. And the compacts illumination should go dim to bright instead of bright to dim.

    Great scopes take a beating and hold zero.

    Hey Ranger, I will check with the boss if its OK, but I am pretty sure it would be fine. I have a brand new 2.5-10 with the NPR2 reticle.(we dont make the R1 in the 2.5-10 its just too small in that scope) I would trade you out of yours if you like. Some day we will get back to changing reticles out and turrests. We have our hands full with what we have now. In fact I will be working all weekend to get some R&D out the door. If I can help let me know. PM me if you like.

    THanks again guys we all have the same goals in mind here at night force. Its a team like I havent ever been a part of before, in a manufacturing environment anyways. Thank you Kyle for putting it into words for the rest of us here at nightforce. There are some very exciting things in the future with nightforce. All of us here in the machine shop thank you guys too.

    Oh....... The owner is Australian. But he owns a global company, that is supporting "local". All construction was done by locals. Everything we do, we when at all possible, we do with local people. He is a great guy, and a great mind, to have backing our sport as a whole.

    I bought my first NF scope last month, now I have my second one on it's way for my hunting rifle. After using the NP-R1 reticle, I don't know if I can buy a different brand.

    In the last 6 months, I've purchased: 3.5-15x50 F2/MLR2, 8-32x56 NP-R1, 12-42x56 NP-2DD; all from either Sport Optics or Euro Optics. All were sitting in my boogerhooks in less than 2 weeks. I can understand that there may be delays in certain of the most popular models, but I'd say NF is doing a pretty damn good job of taking care of their customers!

    2.5-10x32 aboard my 6.8 M6A3 is giving me lots of joy and happiness. And this letter reinforces the way a free market should work all the time. Too bad all those losers "occupying" Wall Street and where ever the Hell else they are don't want to understand that it takes hard work to earn the trust and business of a customer base. If you do so, you will prosper. It is NOT the govt's duty to take from a successful person and give to a lazy one.

    I have three NF's. For me, I have to make certain sacrifices to own this quality of scope. But I'm glad I do. I have purchased others and they just don't hold up making it even more expensive than to buy once, cry once.
