Sta-flo liquid starch with red food coloring and a drop if blue to darken it.
This is what I use for fake blood teaching Stop the Bleed classes.
We have a lot if simulated wounds with tubing into the bottom if them and use a large syringe to keep pumping blood in.
Or just steal some from the blood bank of the hospital.
And heparinize it so it wont clot up.

This weekend I bought Nightmare before Christmas and Beetlejuice and the complete Munsters on DVD.
Had Beetlejuice and Nightmare on tape .
Still considering costumes for this year .
We did Jack Skellington and sally last year . Jack turned out great . The wife had makeup issues .
Her green makeup didn't cover well at all .
Those were her idea , So this year its up to me . She does get veto power .
