    I recently bought a new remington 5R 300WM.

As soon as I got the rifle in off to the gunsmith it went.

Current things that are being done:

    RWS brake
    Timney Trigger set at 1.5LBS
Cerakote barreled action in Armor Black

I'm also awaiting a new stock that I bought from Saleen63 on here. Manners T4 mini chassis in multi cam. When this comes in it will also be bedded for the action.

I have waiting a TPS 20MOA base that I will bed. I still need to get a set of seekins rings but haven't done the math yet to know which height I need.

*changed my mind sold the vortex PST and now on the hunt for a NF NXS

I plan to shoot it for awhile and get used to taking it out a ways hopefully 1000 Yds.

Maybe later in the year I will get the action trued and get a nice barrel for her.

Thanks to all that have helped me with the questions I have had. I really appreciate it.

    PICS to come soon!

In the meantime I'm trying to find a HS Precision for the wifes savage 4.4" Anyone know who might have one?

You are correct. I'm having this stock skim bedded after the previous SPF TAC300 skim bedding is removed.

I'm hoping to get the barreled action back from my gunsmith in the next week.

My manners stock will be here Tuesday.

I have a feeling you are going to love that 5R. I have one and reading this thread makes me think about buying another one.

It's a half minute, heavy barreled, remington 700, what more could a guy ask for?

I've thought long and hard about buying a full custom Nighthawk or GAP, as well as buying an AI, but for a cool thousand bucks, the 5R sure doesn't give much up to them.

    I hope you are right...

I wish the 1,000.00 part were true LOL I have over 3 times that in it now.
