Re: Top 10 low pass flyby's!

Not a jet but still a great low pass from an awesome fighter.

Re: Top 10 low pass flyby's!

I saw a B1 bomber do a low pass flyby traveling from my right side to my left side with a heading of 0 degrees. Then he banked it while going into about a 40 degree climb. Straightened the aircraft out with a new heading of approx. 45 degrees while continuing to do his 40 degree climb. Then he did one complete 360 degree roll while still climbing out at 40 degrees until he disappeared out of my sight. I was looking straight into the afterburners of the engines when he straightened out to his new heading climbing out and doing his full roll. I would have given anything to have had a video camera. I will never forget it as long as I live.

Did someone check the brown factor on that commentator's pant? That's low.

Number one is awesome. It reminds me of the blue angels running over Texoma on the 4th of July.

Closest I've ever been to a low pass was when a B1 came over the rose bowl before the UT/USC Championship. It set off every car alarm on the golf course. I'll take what I can get!

About 10 years ago, I was fishing off a rock brakewater/jetty on Cape Cod, when I heard a roar behind me. Turned around just in time to see a P-51 go about 100 ft over the end of the jetty. Holy crap, did you see that? I asked this old guy sitting on the beach. Yep, that would be so-and-so, he buzzes the resort, to signal his wife to pick him up at the Chatham airport. Happens once a week.
