They found the truck and driver afterwards. When asked what happened he said "It was scary." Brilliant.

Especially if you live in Elgin, TX and probably never had a DL and insurance. Elgin has a large demographic that doesn't stay on the scene for anything, including wrecks, if they can drive or run away.
You notice they don't show the drivers face or give his name.
Yep they gave him a new 2022 Texas edition and some more cash to help pay for his medical expenses as he apparently needs some back surgery and his family has no insurance. Classy move IMO.
