Got my rifle back from GAP. They installed the bottom metal for a 10 rd. mag. Crisp clean work! I sniffed around for a post on the torque setting but didn't find it. Remington 700P-.308 Stock has aluminum blocks already installed. Spoke with a bench rest shooter at work and he gave me half a dozen different scenarios......Thanks for the help. Good luck and good shooting!

55-65 in/lbs for both screws are what's mostly used with steel or aftermarket aluminum floorplates. With the factory Remington pot metal bottom metal I would use 45 in/lbs as they can crack although it doesn't happen alot. I use 65 in/lbs on all my GAP rifles with Badger M5 DBMs.
