Have been shooting a Bergara HMR in 6.5 CM. Recently picked up a remington 700P LTR in .308, and while the HS Precision stock is nice, I prefer the ergonomics and adjustability of the HMR stock. I plan to try swapping the stocks for now since I am taking the .308 out more. First time post here and i just have a simple question: bergara’s torque specs specify 55 in lbs, while It is 65 for the Remington. Putting the Rem 700 action in the HMR stock,do i use 55 or 65? Thanks in advance.

Mmm... depends on your bottom metal and bedding. 65 in lbs for an M24. Not sure if I would go that high on factory bottom metal.
