I just got my B&C A2 stock and the TPS 20moa base.

well the stock is perfect, but the base I'm having problems

the screws (4 of them) that it came with are much bigger than the mounting holes on my action, AND the screws are so big that it won't even go through the base itself!

what's wrong with this picture? not sure if it's the action or the screws... I have some Leupold quick release rings and the screws that came with that fit through the base and the mounting holes in the action. they seem to be the right size.

Here are some pictures to give you a better idea

They sent you the wrong screws for your base. They offer the base with an #8 screw option, and they must have been mixed up.

I would contact the company you purchased these from as I have heard some horror stories of TPS customer service.

well considering the website has been down for the past month, I'm SOL. I'll try to call...

for now I used the leupold screws. it's the same crap.

problem is, 2 screws are short, 2 are long. the 2nd mounting hole from the front is too thick for the short screws, and too thin for the long. well I ended up having to use the short screw, but since it's bit too short, it stripped the screw. so now it's on 3.5 screws lol... I'm gonna put some thread lock on all, and hopefully it'll do the job...

Re: TPS Base just came, wrong screws???

Just to confirm what you already suspected..... TPS's Customer service and warrantee are a JOKE. Looks like in your pictures, that they sent you some 8x40 screws instead of 6x48. I purchased a Rem 700 LA pic rail from them a few months ago, and when i got around to installing it, Neither sets of my Nightforce rings would clamp securely to the rail. (both steel and ultra-light rings) I torqued the cross bolts to 65 in/lbs and the rings would wobble back and forth on the rail. After about 3 or 4 weeks of calling and getting that stupid voice mail.... i finally spoke to some lady there. I sent the rail to them to be spec'ed out. 2 months went by before i was able to get ahold of them again.... they never returned my emails or voice messages i left. The lady told me they were sending my rail back to me because it met their tolerances. I asked for my money back because i knew that my rings would not clamp down on that base. She said that they only will warrantee their product for 30 days.....Holy Shit.... It took over 30 days just to get ahold of them .... TPS has the Worst customer service and warrantee in the business... PERIOD. Buyer Beware...

To the OP.... I hope you get your screw problem resolved... but if its not to late, i would send that rail back to them and get your money back. Buy a Seekins instead... well worth the small price increase over the TPS...(Total Piece O Shit)

Oh yeah... they also sent my rail back to me after all that and made me pay for the postage.... Unbelievable
