Hunting & Fishing Trailcams/Gamecams

Re: Trailcams/Gamecams

I have been using the Wildgame 1.3 and have been pretty impressed so far for a cheap camera ($49.00) We are having alot of cameras getting stolen around our area lately so I figure it is better to put out cheap ones. It takes great pics for a cheap camera it will pick up quail at 21 yards at a water hole so that is good enough for me.

Re: Trailcams/Gamecams

A buddy of mine has a couple of the Wildgame 1.3's and really likes them. I think he got them from wal-mart .

I've got two Wildgame IR4's just before gun season this year . I got for $80 from Bass-Pro on sale .I put them out Oct. 16 and they still show 75% bat. life. They probally have taken 5-600 pics each. I'm happy with them and plan on getting more.

Re: Trailcams/Gamecams

5mp Bushnell Trophy Cams, the new ones. Run for 6 months on 4AA and 1 year on 8 AA batteries. More than the $100 you were looking for...but check ebay. Even at if it was an extra $75 that you spend, you would MORE than make up for that by not spending 6-8 bucks on batteries every month. Not to mention it is a 5mp camera, with night vision, a hair trigger and built in viewer. Sub 3mp cameras are complete crap IMO. Id never go lower than 5mp. Many cell phones are better than 1.3mp, but you get what you pay for i guess.

Re: Trailcams/Gamecams

you get what you pay for. double your price and you can get a cuddeback capture or moultrie I40 (infared). both are excellent cameras, i have the I40 and like it a lot.

Recommended this camera to a friend and he loved it. Just got my own off ebay the other day. They are great for size and price. Especially being 4x6 you can make'm disappear pretty easy. Save the money and camo it yourself...heres what i did with mine:
