So before I go ahead and order something I just wanted to double check. Are there any offerings out there in the 3-18(ish) range with a tremor3 reticle for under 2k? I'm about to order another mk5hd(I have a 5-25 and am more than happy with it), but just want to make sure im not over looking something in my price range that deserves some attention. For what it's worth I'm active duty, so for the couple of companies that offer a discount I usually qualify. Also if any vendors here have something in stock and can come close to leupold VIP pricing please let me know, I would much rather support the vendors here if I can. Thanks guys

Go with the Mark 5 over the 6. The 6’s have a history of tracking issues, the original pinch turrets suck (can get the new turrets now though), the glass isn’t as good as the Mark 5, and they cost more.
I have a mk6 but got the M5B2 turrets upgraded to the M5C2 and yes the B2 elevation (pinch and turn) turret did suck, but the C2 turrets seem to not suck. For me, the mk6s cost less right now, since there are several of them on the hide for $1700 (plus or minus) and if I get a Mk5 I have to get another spuhr to go with it and that would be an extra $350 ... whereas I already have a number of spuhrs and badgers for the 34mm size ... but I keep looking at the mk5s ... and comparing to the NF 4-16x T3 also. One plus on the NF is that it has both red and green illum .. and I like the green since it is less intense than the red, which sounds strange, but is the case.
