TRG 22 Bolt Lubrication

Re: TRG 22 Bolt Lubrication

Make sure your bolt face is clean...

If it gets dirty with powder residue or bits of brass/fouling from cartridges, you get a stiff bolt. The bolt is butter smooth, but is sensitive to dirt... not so much on the lugs, but on the face.

For lubrication, I put a couple of drops of oil on my fingers and wipe down the bolt lugs and the rest of the bolt. It doesn't take much.

Cheers,

Sirhr

Re: TRG 22 Bolt Lubrication

I have a TRG 22, and 42. I have been using Triflow. It is a teflon lubricant. Both bolts slide quite smoothly. I use a thin layer. Great guns.
