My bolt is currently pretty stiff. I have been using Kroil to lubricate it but I was hoping to get some other suggestions on what to use. What do you guys recommend?

Re: TRG 22 Bolt Lubrication

Make sure your bolt face is clean...

If it gets dirty with powder residue or bits of brass/fouling from cartridges, you get a stiff bolt. The bolt is butter smooth, but is sensitive to dirt... not so much on the lugs, but on the face.

For lubrication, I put a couple of drops of oil on my fingers and wipe down the bolt lugs and the rest of the bolt. It doesn't take much.

Cheers,

Sirhr

Awesome, thanks for the advice. I am going to try the Militec and Mil-Comm TW25B.

I have a TRG 22, and 42. I have been using Triflow. It is a teflon lubricant. Both bolts slide quite smoothly. I use a thin layer. Great guns.
