I've been wanting to get into a 6.5 chambering for a while, I've kicked around the idea of a custom build in 6.5x47 Lapua. But at the same time I get a little impatient and don't know if I want to wait and go threw the whole process been there done that a few times already. So I'm at cabelas this weekend and on the counter they had a TRG-22 in 6.5 creedmoor, I have to say it was a pretty sweet rig. Not as nice as the believe it or not, 6mm gap built custom with a s&b scope mounted for about $8500. Super nice for sure.

Guess I'm curious if anyone here has A TRG in a 6.5 and how they like it. I see euro optics has one plus a cadex chassis in stock, if I did that it would be about the same cost as a custom, except I could be shooting it in a week instead of 6 months. Just looking for input and experiences from others who may have gone down that road.

time is worth a lot of $$$. I have run my TRG22 as .243, and .260, wanted it to be a 6.5x47 but the case is too short to be 100% reliable on ejection so went with .260... runs great! When this barrel is done, I would probably do another .260.
