My 300WM loves the 190gr. SMK with 73gr. R-22 and m215 primers.
around 3,050fps.
working up a load for the 208's right now. Will let you know what I come up with
also, I like the Win. brass.

Re: TRG 300win load dymamics

Thanks lobo appriceate the info, any idea on the seating depth? Heard good stuff about the trg and accubonds will see what I can dig up... Thanks bud

Re: TRG 300win load dymamics

seating depth will depend on how your chamber was cut.. I am using 210 gr. bergers with 182 grains of H1000. I started my load devel. out with the bergers jammed into the lands then backed off till my groups tightened, now I am .003" off of the lands.

Re: TRG 300win load dymamics

Jordan,
What velocity are you getting with 75gr H1000?

Looks like your chamber is approx. the same as mine, 3.658" would put me at 0.010" off the lands.

Re: TRG 300win load dymamics

Thanks for the info. coincidentally (or not maybe) that velocity is exactly what my TRG 300WM seems to like for the 208 A-max. Currently it takes around 76gr H1000 with Wolf LRM primers and fresh Win brass to hit 2820fps.

I've been chasing the load as the rifle seems to be shooting faster each time I check it with the same powder charge. It now has just over 100 rounds through down the pipe so I hope it has now stabilized.
